We are currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 academic year.

We are delighted that you are considering Trinity Academy of Gary for your child. Please see the steps below to apply. If you need assistance, please contact the Executive Administrator. To begin the admissions process, please send in the following:

STEP 1: APPLICATION

(Receipt of application and fee initiates our formal application process)

Completed application for admission with attached photograph and $50 non-refundable application fee

STEP 2: TRANSCRIPTS AND RECORDS 

(Must be received before Step 5)

1. Custodial Parent Identification
2. Childs most recent report card
3. Child’s I-STEP Scores (4th grade and above)
4. Child’s I-READ Scores (4th grade and above)
5. Child’s Birth Certificate
6. Child’s Social Security Card
7. Immunization Records
8. Discipline Record/Report
9. Most Recent Tax Return (Choice Scholarship)
10. Most Recent Check Stub (Choice Scholarship)
11. Food Stamp Card Number (Choice Scholarship)

STEP 3: ASSESSMENT VISIT

We will contact you within 1 business day of the receipt of your application to schedule pre-enrollment testing.

Students entering TK through 3rd grade will be given an entrance assessment to determine grade placement

STEP 4: SCHOLARSHIPS

If you feel that your family is eligible for scholarships, we welcome you to apply. Scholarships awards are based upon different criteria. Admissions decisions andscholarships awards are made separately. scholarships funds are limited and may not be available to all admitted students.

STEP 5: ADMISSION COMMITTEE REVIEW

All applications for enrollment are reviewed by our Admissions Review Committee. Only complete applications will be reviewed. Applicants are informed of admissions decisions by phone, with a follow-up by mail on the next business day. Applicants will be notified of any delays in the admissions decision-making process by phone.

STEP 6: ENROLLMENT

Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received throughout the school year, provided there is space available in the class to which the child is applying. A family whose child has been offered an invitation to enroll will be given an enrollment agreement to complete.
